Strong Structured Shoulder Blazers

I have a serious fetish and love for blazers and hence it's no surprise that i'm oh so intrigued and in love when these blazers started booming in the fashion industry. Apart from being so chic by itself, these blazers like any other blazers gives you room for dressing up on the inside but with an added statement to the shoulders, which i absolutely dig. Throw on a tunic and leggings or a pair of skinny jeans and basic top with these strong shoulder blazers, and you've got quite a fashion statement there.

I chose to feature this Robert Rodriguez strong structured shoulder blazer. Firstly i love the shoulder detailing, down to the texture of the lapels. On top of that, I absolutely love how this get up looks as a whole with the acid wash skinnies, to those very sexy heels, and mind you the blouse on the inside does make a fashion statement of it's own with the shoulder structure as well.

and... I could not resist myself from featuring this top by Roland Mouret as well. The shoulder area somehow has a feminine flare to the silhouette and the neckline fitting is just gorgeous, talk about WANTS!

A versatile piece of clothing to take me from day to night – casual to glam, would be a delight to many women.Traveling would make packing and deciding on outfit changes so much simple. A sleek fluid one-piece TTD (Top, Tunic, Dress) would do just that, created by dashing designer Roland Mouret, the TTD can be a top which you just need to tuck into pants or skirts, a tunic to team with leggings or a sleek sexy short dress. Roland Mouret’s collection is fluid, glam and with little details that gives it that stand out look. Check out the TTD video and collection.

Zipper and Blazer Chic!

Post exam shopping's still the best, because you're totally in the mood for splurging and going totally nuts, talk about retail threapy!

Anyway, I was shopping the other day and came across this black knee length dress, constructed and tailored with zippers going across the front. I'm a sucker for all things unique yet pretty at the same time. SADLY, I couldn't buy it as they didn't have my size (It's always the case when you really want something!) but I got a really awesome vest instead.
. . .

Hence the inspiration for my latest update on zippers (:
Coincidentally, I recieved an email from stylehunter featuring zipper dresses, and I love love love this WISH zipper dress! I would buy it in a heartbeat if not for my post exam splurging!

As for the part on blazers I'm just so in love with them!

I selected to feature this blazer from Barkins.com.au not only because I'm so totally in love with the whole get up, but also because i love the lighting and photography of this photo. The blazer costs AU$69.90, rather affordable and yet extremely gorgeous. I love how the outfit is solely black and white and yet flatters the body and model so well when it comes together with her hair and that smokey eye makeup she's wearing so beautifully.

Here I've selected 2 blazer jackets from net-a-porter. The CK blazer is pretty much similar to the one above, loving the crop. I swore to feature only blazers that showed resemblance to the barkins blazer above, but I couldn't resist featuring the Vivienne Westwood's Monday wool-blend jacket, it is really one fine piece of art, I love everything about it, the cut, the lapels and collars as well as the length.

ANYWAY...

I felt it's about time Fashion Unplug recieved a revamp!
I did away with the black and decided to go with minimalistic white instead and added a new header (:

Leviticus Jewelry

Courtesy of Leviticus Jewelry

Whenever I have an event on, I’m most likely be in need of a certain piece of jewelry to compliment my look. Its always a pleasure to browse online accessory stores, that certain piece of necklace, bracelet or ring might just be the formula for that stand out look. Recently I was introduced to Leviticus Jewelry, browsing through the site, I was pleasantly surprise by the themes of the pieces, especially the necklaces ; vintage, retro, bold, fun, playful, inspiring, spiritual…it seemed like each piece had a story to tell. The creative jewelry designer behind Leviticus Jewelry is Tara Levitin. Inspired by her passion for music and old movies, she creates her handmade one of a kind pieces from mixed metals with an antique look. I love vintage pieces and am captivated by her necklaces ‘Just Like Heaven’ and ‘Victorian Drape’. Browse her site, an interesting piece might catch your attention click here

Accessories Galore at Shop Wiki

I’ve been known many a times to scour the internet on numerous websites, in search of fashion ideas for just one event, weeks before the occasion. Going through regular sites and then googling away till late. Especially when I need accessories like jewellery, sunnies, bags, shoes etc. Coming out with the results I need is quite an achievement but pretty tedious at times. Shop Wiki never ceases to amaze me, I’ve heaps of fashion sites to drool over and makes it so much easier with a buying guide included, with just a few searches from the site.

Its accessories resources is filled with reviews, store websites, blogs and even fashion/accessories tips, advice and articles. Besides costume jewellery there are resources for the more serious jewellery buyer, links to buying and choosing of precious and semi-precious, gold, silver etc. Links throughout Shop Wiki easily takes you from site to site, filled with something for every fashionista. I love the fact that I get to discover new fashion sites especially one that has everything from apparel to shoes and accessories to beauty products.

While browsing there is no excuse to forget your man as there are resources to men’s accessories such as belts, ties, cuff links and sites to men’s health and other fashion resources. Shop Wiki has everything you need without the hassle of searching aimlessly. A site that I would highly recommend for all online shoppers.

Vivienne Westwood S/S 09 Red Collection

courtesy of Grazia Magazine

At first glance of the embellished shoe above, it scream Vivienne Westwood to me but alas it was magnificent shoe master (unaffordable shoes for someone like me esp. in times of recession) Christian Loubotin. Since I had westwood on my mind, I was pretty intrigued to see what her latest collection held as with the season’s more tailored outfits and blazer suits on the runway and with Pamela Anderson modeling for her new campaign, certainly I was curious. I’m not one who relishes on eccentric fashion trends and usually westwood has been super successful in her innovative designs which has made her a worldwide hit especially amongst celebrites. Her latest S/S09 Red Collection, was nothing I expected, I was pleasantly surprise at how much I loved her collection. Dresses were feminine and sexy, some a little playful. Westwood has been around since the 70’s but she has delivered season after season and there is no sign she is ever letting up.
